Hampton Beach, New Hampshire

June and July needless to say are the busiest times at the Hampton Beach area. Now that construction of the Seashell Stage is complete you'll find music of all varieties being played on a daily basis there. Live music! With the official opening on June 1st, 2012 just in time for the summers events.
Mid June this season they had a Master Sand sculpting competition, which ran into early July. Later on in July they sponsored the Miss Hampton Beach Beauty Pageant. Every night at the Seashell Stage from 7-8pm and from 8:30-9:30pm there are different and various musical performances. And to top things off a fireworks display every Wednesday night in June, July and August. Oh by the way........music and fireworks are free!
This August is the Children's Festival and junior and adult talent competition on the 24th and 25th.
I have not been down to Hampton Beach yet this season, obviously because we have just arrived and are not settled in yet. However the trip is in the plans.
September at Hampton Beach always pleasant and September 7-9.......THE SEAFOOD FESTIVAL!!!!!
Weather your a shopper a game player or if you just enjoy good food and relaxation I'm sure you'll find it all here. Lots of restaurants, I recommend Farr's, famous for their chicken and ribs, on "C" st. Lots of shopping places and some good deals too. If you don't like the beach water you can always go to the Casino Waterslide, very visible from the beach.
I would just like to say a big thank you to the Hampton Beach Police Department for their fine work. Four years ago on July 4th weekend we had our camera bag stolen....3 digital cameras....car keys....bank cards...cell phone. It was within a few hours of reporting it stolen that we got a call to come claim it. Amazing considering the huge number of people there. Thanks again!
