Boston, Cape Cod

Well we had our vacation, of sorts. I'm not particularly fond of camping when you don't have something comfortable to sleep on and the ground is cold. We did however have fantastic weather, in the seventies.
Thursday we set up camp and did some shopping (we forgot pillows) Friday we drove to Chatam and then down 28N to woods hole Ma. taking in some of the the beaches and five of the lighthouses along 28N. Th e first lighthouse we saw but did not go to as it was a mile walk through sand dunes. Some of the others were a disappointment as  they are more like beacons (small). Our favorite Nobska in Woods Hole.Saturday we took in a  PeeWee hockey game at the Falmouth Ice Arena and then made our way down to Falmouth harbor to take in the views and take a look at some properties once owned by my wife's family. Over all it was a good time and very relaxing sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. Fall foliage is under way too!
