And Labor Day is upon us I would just like to dedicate this blog post to my mother, who with her adventurous spirit, Dutch stubbornness, and sure will asked at the age of 85 if we would take her kayaking.
We had just planned on taking her for a nice picnic at the park and had the kayaks on the truck and she kept saying are you taking me kayaking. At age eighty five I wasn't sure it was a good idea, turns out it was pretty much her last adventure as she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in the following months So here is to my mother may her adventurous spirit live on in all of us..
