We are in Fresno, have been for a few days now. Highway 101 was absolutely beautiful. Never I repeat Never go down highway 1 the entire length! Lots of cliffs switch backs, hairpin turns, oh cliffs with no guard rails! Over 100 miles of that. We did meet a few elk at 3am in the middle of the road, fortunately we didn't hit them. Point Reyes National Seashore and lighthouse was a huge disapointment. San Francisco, well that says it all, but there are some cool things to do there.
Yesterday we ventured to Yosemite, again beautiful there. Thought we might go to Giant Sequoia and Kings Canyon, haven't decided yet simply because I am so tired of the roads that twist and turn etc. If we want more of that we'll just go to Disneyland for the rides.
